We have financial concerns:

• At a time of high CD rates, the ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds were in saving's accounts earning less than 1% interest until July 2023.

• Nearly $3 million of the $4.2 million of those funds is still available. Courthouse Windows are not done. Animal Control requested a truck that was then not purchased. The list goes on.

• Failing to spend the American Rescue Plan Act Funds ($4.2 million) would be a catastrophic fiscal mistake. We need to plan and execute projects in a timely fashion. 

Pinching pennies and while allowing our political friends to bloat their budgets will not happen on our watch.
