Larry Syfert - District 5

I was born and raised in Shelby County. I worked for SJ Groves and am very proud to have helped build the Lake Shelbyville Dam. So, I have a deep appreciation for the history of this county and those landmarks that make it special, like the Shelby County Poor Farm.

I have been the Holland Township Road Commissioner for over 12 years. I have experience in local government, with budgets and projects. I know how to get tasks completed within budget and statutory confines.

I support our dive team, law enforcement, and our county's employees. I believe in smart fiscal conservatism that prioritizes needs for the best of the county. With the right group of people we can rebuild the faith and trust in this county, and ensure that we hand the next generation this county in better shape than we found it.
